65% of Couples Shop for Engagement Rings Together

Published on

According to The Knot's research, two thirds of couples shop for engagement rings together. This confirms a trend we've seen grow for years: women know what they like and can't afford to let the man choose all by himself and make a mistake. In years gone by (and probably true for your parents) it was the man who made a secret mission to buy an engagement ring and it would be a total surprise to his girlfriend.

Another interesting tidbit from The Knot's research is that bride's ranked the "style and setting" of the engagement ring as a top priority -- beating out the quality and size of the center diamond.
